Howard Townsend medical lectures ca. 1860-1865

Howard Townsend (1823-1867) was a lecturer at the Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Included are manuscripts of forty-seven medical lectures delivered by Dr. Townsend to the students of the Albany Medical College, ca.1860-1865, and an introductory address to the class of 1865. The lectures consist of a series of twenty-five on physiology (three are missing) and another series of twenty-five on materia medica and other medical topics.
